Infant and Nursery School Remote Learning Offer

When an individual child is told to self-isolate for fourteen days, it is really important that they can access the learning that is happening in school and maintain relationships with their adults and friends.
In Nursery and Reception, our teachers will be using Tapestry to keep in touch, send activities for you to try at home and even record snippets of lessons. In Reception you will also have access to DoodleMaths and Bug Club. We can check in and see how your child is getting on in all of these platforms, respond to pieces that you post and make sure that we are keeping the level of challenge set at the right level. If you have a learning query you can also contact the Nursery teachers on and the Reception teachers on
In Year One and Two our teachers are using SeeSaw to stay in touch, set tasks and respond to the posts that your child makes. When you tell us that you are staying at home to self isolate, we will send you a code that will give you access to the same work that the children in school are being given. They will also have access to DoodleMaths and Bug Club, which will be monitored regularly by teachers. You can continue to contact the teachers on or
When a class or Year Group is told to self isolate for fourteen days, the teachers will provide the learning opportunities in the same way, with children accessing their learning on the same learning platforms. In these cases there will be a mixture of activities provided and some may be uploaded by another teacher in the year group.
Below is a detailed plan covering all the areas of the curriculum so that you can see what you can expect from us and in return, what we expect from you. There are also links to websites that support the learning, play and wellbeing of your child.
