School Meals

If your child wants to stay to lunch he/she can have either a packed lunch (supplied by you) or a school meal.  In the Infant School the meals are free of charge, whereas in the Junior School, the cost of a school meal is £2.50 per meal.

We are a healthy eating Federation, therefore, please refrain from putting crisps, sweets and chocolate bars in your child’s lunch box. Also, we have some children with nut allergies, so please do not include anything with a nut ingredient.

Our school meals provider for both schools is Devon Norse.  Please follow the link to find out more information about their school meals. Their menu operates on a three weekly cycle.  Please see the menu information below for more details.

It is possible to have a mixture of packed lunches and school meals in the same week. You will be provided with a menu for school meals in advance.

Meals in the Infant School

Children in the Infant School can order their meal daily.  All school meals are free for Infant School children.

If your child requires the vegetarian option or jacket potato at lunchtime the office must be informed on that day.

Every Friday we have a Meal in a Bag, which is a very popular choice. Fresh vegetables from our school gardens are used in many recipes.  The children love seeing the produce they have grown in their meals and salads.

Meals in the Junior School

From 31st October, the week after the half term holiday, children will order lunches, in class, on a daily basis.  Please continue to pay through ParentMail: £2.50 will be deducted from your account when a lunch is taken.  Parents who do not use the online payment facility will need to send cash or cheque, made payable to Devon County Council, to the school office in a named envelope.
